Cold-water prawns live to Atlantic Ocean near North America beaches. Warm water prawns live in oceans near South America and Asia. White prawns are originally from Florida, United States, but people found these prawn near Mexico beaches. Brown prawns live to Atlantic Coast near Mexico and South of U.S. Usually people do not cook brown prawns, because of bad taste.
Pink prawns are cold-water prawns from ocean near North America, Alaska and Canada. In addition, pink prawns are very good for cooking. There are three species of tiger prawn, wild, blue and black tiger prawns. Tiger prawns live to oceans near Asia and U. S. Another prawn that you can find to U.S. market is gulf prawns, which live to ocean to Gulf of Mexico and South of United States.
